Freshwater  Pearls signify faith, charity and innocence.  It enhances personal integrity and helps to provide a focus to ones attention.  Pearl symbolises purity and is known as a “stone of sincerity”.  It brings truth to situations and loyalty to a “cause” (the leash is a string of freshwater pearl)

The pearl represented the journey of the soul or spirit along the path to perfection. In ancient burials, mourners placed pearls in the mouths of the deceased.
